SER/VE: STEM Quests invite K12 students to work alone or to join with school classmates or virtual team members to participate in quests that challenge them to integrate their virtual skills, the technology tools, and their learning within the quest area. Awards will be given to those individuals and teams that achieve the highest performance and certificates will be awarded to all who meet the quest's requirements. For the quests, different technology tools will be required before you can participate since you will be using these tools in new situations. When you are learning these tools -- or advancing your knowledge in these areas. You will work with research ideas that come from your classroom or that are supplied by SER/VE.

SER/VE: STEM Quest - How can we find our way? - explore locations within the virtual space and within equivalent United States locations; use GPS and coordinates to tell participants were to search; join hunt for hidden clues & then vote on the most clever island-caching. Prerequisites Research and Technology Certificates in Google Earth and PowerPoint.
SER/VE:STEM Quest - What's in your neighborhood? - learn how to identify landforms in your neighborhood and share your geologic history with your SER/VE friends; join voting for most accurate, memorable, and instructive. Prerequisites Research and Technology Certificates in YouTube and PowerPoint.
SER/VE: STEM Quest - Can we picnic tomorrow? - learn about weather forecasting through internet, satellite mapping, and join voting for the most accurate forecast (after seeing what really happens). Prerequisites Research and Technology Certificates in Google Earth and PowerPoint.
SER/VE: STEM Quest - How good is your exercise? - exercise has to raise your heart rate to be effective; measure friends heartbeats after your exercise regime and test your own skills within the virtual triathlon; join voting for the best exercise regime that is communicated in the most convincing manner. Prerequisites Research and Technology Certificates in blood-pressure data probes and PowerPoint.
